Walt Disney World has four theme parks, twenty-four onsite resorts, two water parks, four mini-golf courses, an interactive/video game park, and a shopping and nighttime entertainment area. Given all that there's to do, becoming familiar with all your options will make for a smoother trip!

Magic Kingdom: The Magic Kingdom covers 107 acres and has seven "lands". It is based on the original Disney park, Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Epcot: Epcot is divided into two unique sections- Future World and World Showcase. Future World consists of various pavilions dedicated to the environment, imagination, energy, space, technology, and the automotive industry. World Showcase is made up of pavilions representing 11 different nations along with food, entertainment, architecture, and attractions representing those countries.

MGM Studios: A movie inspired theme park with shows, attractions and two of the most popular thrill rides at WDW.

Animal Kingdom: A zoo with a few rides added to the mix. The highlights are a jeep safari through live animal enclosures and the newly opened roller coaster, "Expedition Everest".


Blizzard Beach : a melting Florida ski resort theme. This park has more thrill type slides than it's older cousin, Typhoon Lagoon.

Typhoon Lagoon: a tropical beach theme complete with typhoon "damage" to many of the structures in the park. Home of gentle slides and a giant surf wave pool.

Downtown Disney: home to a movie theater complex, Disney quest (interactive arcade), Pleasure Island (a nightclub district), shopping, and several destination restaurants such as House of Blues and Rainforest Cafe.

Sea World Orlando marine animal adventure park with fascinating and fun dolphin, killer whale and seal shows. See polar bears, penguins, sting rays in recreations of their natural habitats. Sea World Orlando contains 3 rides, 5 shows, and many other attractions. Sea World Orlando is home to 8 whales. A nighttime show, titled Shamu Rocks America, features the famous killer whale performing tricks along with pyrotechnics.
A sensational, dramatic new Shamu show Believe is both stunning and spectacular.

Inside the gates of Universal Studios you’ll find yourself in the middle of a real working film and television production studio; and Production Central is where Hollywood meets Orlando, and the business of making movies meets the excitement of living them.

Island of Adventure explore timeless stories, myths and legends experience epic adventures.The park features 6 themed island:

  • Port of Entry is primarily a shopping center, and has the feel of an Arabian bazaar.
  • Marvel Super Hero Island has rides reminiscent of Marvel comic books.
  • Toon Lagoon area includes Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, a traditional log flume advertised to have the steepest drop of any log flume in America (70 degree pitch), and Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges, a river rapids ride. It also has a kids' playground.
  • Jurassic Park, set in the time of the Jurassic Park movie, the focal point of the area is the Jurassic Park River Adventure with animatronic dinosaurs and an 85 ft (26 m) drop while escaping the jaws of a menacing T-Rex.
  • The Lost Continent is themed to ancient myths and legends. The land features Dueling Dragons (a pair of dueling inverted roller coaster), Poseidon's Fury, and Flying Unicorn.
  • Seuss Landing is the only themed area at Islands of Adventure specially geared towards small children and is based on the works of the author Dr. Seuss. It has several Seuss-themed rides, including the Caro-Seuss-el, The Cat in the Hat Ride

Busch Gardens Tampa is is a 335-acre African-themed family entertainment park with world class live entertainment indoors and out, thrilling rides, roller coasters, exotic animal habitats and shows. Busch Gardens is one of the country's premier zoos featuring more than 2,700 animals. They have several of the southeast's largest roller coasters including the new SheiKra, the nation's first dive coaster. Set among the jungle ruins of a once-mighty African civilization, SheiKra will carry riders up 200 feet at 45 degrees, then hurtle them 70 mph back toward the ground at a 90-degree angle. It will be the first coaster of its kind in the Americas and only the third in the world.

The John F. Kennedy Space Center is the NASA space vehicle launch facility spaceport. It is 34 mi long and around 6 mi wide, covering 219 square miles. Around 17,000 people work at the site. There is a visitor center and public tours and KSC is a major tourist destination for visitors to Florida. Because much of KSC is off limits to development, the site also serves as an important wildlife sanctuary
Gatorland_logo.gif Orlando's Best Half Day Attraction located in sunny Central Florida! Known internationally as the Alligator Capital of the World, Gatorland is a 110-acre alligator theme park and wildlife preserve.
