All the major airlines offer assistance for disabled passengers, just let them know when you are booking so they can expect you!
Any medication taken on board must be carried in hand luggage, passengers carrying medicine in liquid or injection form must have the relevant documentation from their doctor.
There is a limited supply of adapted vehicles available through the major car hire companies but it is wise to book these well in advance.
Wheelchairs and electric scooters can be hired locally or through a reputable travel company.
Most hotels, apartments and villas cater for disabled guests, but it is essential to specify your needs on booking, as some properties feature bedrooms on an upper level, so it is important to ensure your villa etc has ground floor bedrooms.
The restaurants, diners, dinner shows and bars are wheelchair friendly so it is no problem to access any of these.
Theme parks especially welcome disabled guests,and will offer assistance onto rides and into shows so you can enjoy the thrills with your friends and family.
Disney rides often board disabled riders from the exit side of the ride so you also manage to skip the queues!
